How Roost works

Wake up. Pose. Let Roostie handle the rest.

Step 1

Alarm rings — no snooze

Set your wake time. When it rings, there’s no snooze button to hide behind.

Step 2

Pose for Roostie

Hold a random standing pose so Roostie knows you’re actually up — not scrolling from bed.

Step 3

Roostie guards your phone

Dopamine apps stay locked from 15 minutes up to 8 hours — however long you want your morning protected.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about Roost

What is Roost?

Roost is a morning app starring Roostie the rooster. Pose to silence your alarm, then he locks high-dopamine apps so you stop bed-scrolling.

Who is Roostie?

Roostie is your cute wake-up buddy — think Duo, but for mornings. He’s cheerful, a little pushy, and on your side.

How is this different from other alarm apps?

Most apps stop when the alarm turns off. Roost starts there: after you prove you’re up, Roostie keeps TikTok and friends locked for your chosen window.
